Everyone in the bridge area will be at least one-thousand feet from the river cross on land and at least 15-hundred feet on the river. Traffic under the bridge will be restricted starting Sunday at nine am. Safe view areas are located on the Causeway in Pierre, Charles Street in Pierre; the Yellowstone junction with Highways 14/34 and 83 and Shimrose Drive in Fort Pierre. Drivers are encouraged to change their travel schedule during the closure. Detours are available over the Oahe Dam.
