The Lyman Raiders will be the last game of the day in the Class B State Tournament in Huron tonight as the Raiders, the three seed, face the six seed Sanborn Central/Woonsocket.
The Raiders are 19-3 on the season, but also face a three loss team in the Sanborn Central/Woonsocket Blackhawks who are 20-3. Lyman has won four in a row while the Blackhawks have won eight in a row coming into tonight. Makaylee Scott leads the Raiders with an incredible 18.7 points per game while Brooke Palmer also averages double figures at 10.7 points a game and Jordyn Scott at 9.9. Both Makaylee Scott and Palmer average over six rebounds per game. The Raiders shoot about 44% from the field and near 30% from long range. Sanborn Central/Woonsocket counters with a prolific scorer in Liz Boschee averaging 19.8 points per game while Alexa Goertz is averaging 12.5 per game. Kaylie Robinson pulls down the most rebounds for the Blackhawks at 6.5 rebounds a game.
