Pierre City Commission To Meet Tonight

PIERRE, (KCCR) — The Pierre City Commission is meeting tonight for the final time in February. Again, a light and limited agenda will greet the Commission. First up for the Commission is approval of an eight-item consent calendar. Besides minutes and claims for approval, the calendar includes two new hires include Casey Pamperien as Airport Manager. Three raffle requests are included as well including raffles for the T-F Riggs Trap Team, Stately Stitchers Quilt Guild and South Dakota Police Chiefs Association. Unfinished business includes two bid awards for 2025 aggregate base course and Slurry Seal projects and a public hearing for two alcoholic license transfers for Larkspur Landing Event Center. In new business, the Commission will consider a temporary liquor license for Larkspur Landing for the Missouri Shores Gala of Hope and Commissioners will hear the 2024 Rawlins Library Report. The Pierre City Commission meets at the Pierre Municipal Building at 5:30 pm.
