Pierre School Board To Meet Tonight

PIERRE, (KCCR) — The Pierre School Board is holding it’s February meeting tonight. The Board will consider a six-item consent calendar before hearing comments from Superintendent Dr. Kelly Glodt. Board and public comments will follow along with a Riggs Student Senate update. The Board will be updated on the Teammates mentoring program and will consider approval of the legal calendar for the 2025-26 school year. First reading will be given to an employee criminal background check revision and final readings will be held for two other board policies. One is a revision to the capitalization policy and the second is a revision to the property disposal procedure policy. The Pierre School Board will consider action on surplus items, donations, resignation, retirements, open enrollments and contract items. Board members will also consider an adjustment to the March Board meeting and will meet in executive session. The Pierre School Board meets at 5:30 pm tonight at the District Administration Building.
