Pierre City Commission To Meet Tonight

PIERRE, (KCCR) — The Pierre City Commission is meeting tonight at the Pierre Municipal Building. A short agenda comes before the Commission tonight. Commissioners will consider approval of a four-item consent calendar. On the calendar are meeting minutes from the January 28th meeting, claims, approval for inaugural volunteers and a raffle request from the T-F Riggs Clay Target Team. Only two items of new business make up the bulk of the agenda. Commissioners will get updated on the Build Dakota Scholarship Industry Match Grant Program. That discussing will include considering a memorandum of understanding with the Pierre Economic Development Corporation to extend the program. The Commission will also consider the D-B-E Program Policy for the Pierre Regional Airport. Commissioners will end the meeting by presenting any dialogue they may have. The Pierre City Commission meets tonight at 5:30 pm. The meeting is open to the community.
