The Gettysburg Battlers will be at home on Friday and will bring plenty of local teams to its home event of the season as some teams begin its track and field season.
The Battlers will be hosting a total of 22 teams which includes two from North Dakota as some teams kick off their season. Sully Buttes is one of those teams. They were scheduled to be in Pierre on Tuesday for the Bob Judson Invite, but after it was postponed the Chargers opening season competition was pushed back to now Friday. Other teams impacted from Tuesday’s meet locally which will be in Gettysburg is Stanley County, Highmore-Harrold and Hoven. It’s also the first competition of the season for the Pirates. It’ll be the first outdoor meet of the season for all the local teams involved in Friday’s competition.
The field events begin at 1:00 with the track events to start at 2:00 at the Gettysburg Sports Complex.
