(Aberdeen, SD) – The Sully Buttes Chargers for the first time in six seasons are returning to Aberdeen for the Boys Class B state tournament. Their opening round about is the Freeman Flyers a team the Chargers have not history of their two teams playing.
The Chargers enter at 18-5 and are winners of their last five contest including the game winning shot in the SODAK 16 that sent the Chargers to the state tournament against Dupree 42-40 final score. The Freeman Flyers enter 21-2 and currently ride a 19 game winning streak. The Flyers defeated Lower Brule 62-40 in their SODAK 16 contest.
Freeman margin of victory this season is at 19 points; scoring an average of 64 points and surrendering 46. The Chargers margin of victory this season is around 13 points scoring 63 points per game and surrendering 50. Their only common opponent this season has been Lyman both teams came out victorious.
