PIERRE, (KCCR) — Candidates continue to return petitions for certification for placement on the June primary election ballot. Laurie Gill’s petitions to run for District 24 House were filed March 13th confirming at least a three-way primary for two seats against Incumbent Mike Weisgram and Regan Bollweg of rural Harrold. In District 21, which includes Tripp County there will be a Senate primary. Incumbent Mykala Voita of Bonesteal returned petitions to defend her Senate seat against Erin Tobin of Winner in a rematch of two years ago when Voita defeated Tobin. Travis Ismay has also turned in petitions to retain his single seat in District 28-B. In county races, Ashley Arpan has submitted petitions to run for sheriff in Dewey County as an Independent candidate. Rodney Enright has turned in petitions for Dewey County Commission seat two as a Democrat. In Potter County, Patrick Everson has turned in valid petitions as a Republican for County Commission. In Lyman County, petitions have been submitted by Republican Zane Reis for County Commission and Misti Ramser for Auditor. In Jones County, Lori Waldron, a Republican, has submitted petitions for County Commission and Matiah Weber for Treasurer as a Republican.
