PIERRE, (KCCR) — The Hughes County Commission is meeting Tuesday afternoon at the Hughes County Courthouse. The meeting will begin with two public hearings. The first is a public hearing for a new liquor license application. The second is for a request to vacate a section line right-of-way in western Hughes County. Commissioners will discuss the 203-24 Audit Closing Conference and a jail contract. The Commission will also discuss and announce recommendations for highway bids, declare surplus property and will discuss the transfer of county property to the town of Harrold. Personnel items are also on the agenda along with reports from Commissioners and liaisons. Commissioners are scheduled to meet in executive session for Care-of-the-Poor and HIPPA.
