The Lyman Raiders were stunned on Thursday in the first round loss, but were able to dig deep on Friday to bounce back and get a win 53-48 over Colman-Egan in the consolation semifinals.
Lyman will fight for a consolation championship on Saturday, but the Raiders had to come back from a first quarter and third quarter deficit to get the win. Lyman trailed 19-13 after the first, but had it tied at the half. Then the Raiders trailed at two after three before outscoring the Hawks by seven in the fourth to get the win. The Scott girls would each have a double-double in the win as Mak had the game high 21 points and 15 rebounds while Jordyn had 10 points and 12 rebounds. Brooke Montgomery also had 10 points for the Raiders as the top seed gets the win.
Lyman will face Bennett County in the consolation championship at 12:45 in a game in which many thought could have been the state championship.
