PIERRE, (KCCR) — In what could be one of the last actions he’ll have taken as a member of the House of Representatives, Will Mortenson has members of the House earlier this week to concur with Senate changes to House Bill 1215. The measure would give local governments the ability to issue licenses to cigar-only smoking bars….
House Bill 1215 cleared the final step before heading to the Governor’s desk 64 to three. As of Tuesday Rhoden has signed 127 bills into law. Only one veto remains for the Legislature to consider. That bill is House Bill 1077, which would consider cultivated-protein food products as adulterated food. Rhoden vetoed the bill over a month ago on February 10th. The final day of the main run of the session is Thursday. Veto Day is March 30th.
