The 20-2 Lyman Raiders will be in Fort Pierre tonight for the SoDak 16 game against McIntosh in the 1-16 matchup. The Raiders will be looking for a second win in Fort Pierre this year.
If the advantage wasn’t already there for Lyman who is the top seed in Class B, they will be playing for the second time at the Parkview Auditorium this year adding on to their advantage over McIntosh. The Raiders have lost just one game in South Dakota this year, to Bennett County 76-58 at Bennett County on February 17. Now, they face McIntosh who is 12-7 beating Dupree and Faith to reach the SoDak 16. The Tigers won 33-31 over Faith in the SoDak 16 qualifying game. And as good as the Raiders are this year, they have just one senior, Mak Scott with every other member being a junior or younger. Lyman has its sight set on winning a state championship and are one step away from making the state tournament in Brookings.
Tip off is set for 6:00 tonight at the Parkview Auditorium in Fort Pierre. If Lyman wins, they will face the lowest seed to win in the SoDak 16 in the first round of the state tournament.
