The Stanley County Lady Buffaloes will look to upset the two seed Miller Rustlers in the first round of the Region 6A playoffs traveling to Miller tonight.
The two teams haven’t seen each other since December when the Rustlers won in Miller 62-26 which was a day later because of snow. It was the Rustlers who were able to getting a running clock victory early on in the season as it was just the second game of the season for Stanley County while Miller played its first game of the year. Stanley County finished the regular season at 1-19 while Miller is 15-5 winning four of the last five heading into the playoffs. Addy Deal led the Lady Buffs in the loss back in mid December with 10 points. Miller finished the game with three in double figures led by Madelyn Saienga’s game high 17 points with Jolie Palmer having 13 and Paige Werdel having 11.
Tip off is scheduled for 7:00 tonight at the Miller Armory. The winner will face either three seed Cheyenne-Eagle Butte or Crow Creek in the Region 6A SoDak 16 qualifying game on Thursday.
