The Stanley County Buffaloes will be on the road tonight and will finish out the regular season for the girls with the boys having two games remaining.
The Lady Buffaloes are looking to finish the regular season at 2-18 after the loss on Tuesday to the Mobridge-Pollock Tigers and will face the Little Wound Lady Mustangs. It’s the third game of the week for Little Wound who played against Todd County on Tuesday and then was in Crazy Horse last night. The Lady Mustangs are 3-15, splitting it’s two games beating Crazy Horse last night. Stanley County moved up to sixth place in the 6A standings and a win will help solidify facing the three seed in the first round of the Region 6A tournament next week Tuesday.
The Buffalo boys are looking for its 17th win of the season taking on Little Wound tonight. The Mustangs are 8-10 on the season and can be a high powered offense. Little Wound scored 114 points in its win over Tiospaye Topa and have scored at least 70 points in all but two of its wins which also included a 100-92 loss to Mahpiya Luta. The Buffs are coming off one of their most impressive wins of the season beating Mobridge-Pollock on the road where the Tigers had not lost a game at home prior to Tuesday’s game. Stanley County will host Lyman on Monday next to close out the regular season.
Tip off of the girls game is scheduled for 6:30 Central time and the boys game to follow at Little Wound High School in Kyle.
