The Stanley County Buffaloes will be at home on Saturday for their lone game of the week after rescheduling its game against Gettysburg as the Battlers will be in town.
The Buffs are 14-2 on the season and in eighth place in all of Class A as the season is in the final quarter of the year and have won four in a row and six of the last seven heading into tonight to face the Battlers with just four games left in the season. Gettysburg is coming in after a win on Thursday over Faulkton Area and are 7-9 on the season. The game is rescheduled from January 23 when the game was postponed because of the bitter cold temperatures closing schools for the day. Stanley County is also sitting in the number one spot in the Region 6A standings and need to make sure they win down the stretch to hold the number one seed in the region and try and hold on to a potential top eight spot to be in a more favorable SoDak 16 matchup in the first part of March.
Tip off is scheduled for 3:30 Saturday night at the Parkview Auditorium in Fort Pierre.
