It’s the final home game of the season for the Stanley County Lady Buffaloes tonight as they host the North Central Thunder in a standalone girls game.
the Thunder are no slouch, coming in at 11-4 on the season and have won five straight with a win over Jones County on Saturday. Even with the good record, though, the Thunder are sitting between the 4-5 seeds in Region 6B with a tough region who will have to continue to battle and win games to move up the Region 6B standings. Stanley County is 1-16 with just three games left to go in the regular season and will play in front of the home fans for the final time this season. However, without a senior on the team, every Lady Buff will be able to return for Stanley County next season. The Lady Buffs will be on the road in the final two games of the regular season before having to be on the road to start the region tournament at the end of February.
Tip off of the game is scheduled for around 7:45 at the Parkview Auditorium in Fort Pierre.
