The Stanley County Buffaloes have two games tonight in different locations as the Lady Buffaloes are at home against Bennett County while the Buffalo boys will be on the road to face the Chamberlain Cubs.
The Lady Buffaloes are looking for its second win of the season but are up against another tough team in the Bennett County Warriors who are 11-2 on the season. The Warriors are defending state champions led by the O’Neill sisters who are still just a sophomore and freshman. The Warriors have won nine straight heading into tonight.
The Buffalo boys are coming off a hard fought win by two over Todd County and will be on the road to Chamberlain tonight. The Cubs are 7-6 on the season and in fifth place in the Region 6A standings after picking up a 15 point win over Platte-Geddes on Tuesday and have won two straight. It’s a potential playoff matchup as Stanley County is the top seed in Region 6A, but the Cubs would have to win on the road to get to face Stanley County. Chamberlain lost by two just a couple of weeks ago in Mission.
Tip off of the girls game from the Parkview Auditorium is at 6:30 with the boys varsity game to tip off at 7:45 in Chamberlain tonight.
