Missing Lyman County Teen Located Wednesday

RELIANCE, (KCCR) — A missing Lyman County teenager has been found safe. An Endangered Missing Advisory was issued Tuesday evening for 17 year-old Royal Macalister Luft of Reliance. Luft was identified as a six-foot tall white male with blue eyes and short dark blond hair. When reported missing, Luft was last seen wearing only a pair of South Dakota State University basketball shorts He was last seen walking away from his home around 8:30 Tuesday night. Officials believed he was barefoot and not wearing appropriate clothing for winter weather at the time and was believed to have been seriously endangered. In the notice canceling the Endangered Missing Advisory it was not mentioned how Luft was located or if he simply returned home.
