Cronin will be wrapping up his third three-year term on the Board this year. He first joined the Pierre School District Board of Education in 2017 after a lengthy career in the Pierre School District as both and educator and administrator. In 2023, Cronin was selected Outstanding School Board Member of the Year by the Associated School Boards of South Dakota. Cronin also served as a member of Pierre Educational Foundation for three years.
