(Ipswich, SD) – Sully Buttes girls’ basketball is back in action on Tuesday after winning their first game of the season on Saturday against Aberdeen Christian. The Chargers begin their first of three days of basketball as they will battle Ipswich in a make up contest from early December.
The Chargers will look to continue their winning streak, but they will match up against undefeated Ipswich who are 5-0 on the season after their win against Ellendale 49-34 on Monday.
Sully Buttes have the series dating as far back as 2007 winning 16 of the 22 games played according to MaxPreps. Ipswich did win the one and only game last season 49-35 which snapped a four game winning streak for the Chargers against the Lady Tigers. Sully Buttes’ last win against Ipswich was two years ago where they won 65-30.
