After competing in two tournaments, the Pierre Governor wrestling teams will travel to Aberdeen today to face the Golden Eagles in a boys and girls duals.
It’s the first duals of the season for the boys and girls as they get two this week, hosting Harrisburg on Thursday being at home for the first time all season. The Governor boys have stayed in the top four in each of its two tournaments while the girls were second in Watertown and fifth in Rapid City this past weekend. It’s an ESD contest to open up the dual season with Pierre once again hosting the dual state tournament in February. This is the last week of the 2025 season before the Govs return to action in January.
The matches begin at 4:00 at Aberdeen Central High School.
