FORT PIERRE, (KCCR) — The Fort Pierre City Council is meeting for the final regular meeting of 2025 tonight. City officials will give reports to the Council before the Council digs down into a long agenda. The Council will consider approval of a change order for the crack seal project and pay application for that same work. A change order and pay application for the Tatanka Trail project and 2025 Curb and Gutter work will also be under consideration by the Council. A pay application is also on the agenda for work done on Dupree Trail. Final reading will be considered for approval on three ordinances. They include the supplemental and utility budget and for the conduction of city elections. Council members will consider approval of dray, electrical and plumbing licenses for 2026 and five mobile home court licenses for 2026. The Council will consider authorization to purchase and sign for a new street sweeper, a temporary liquor license, WAPA contract and two resolutions. One resolution is to set an election date while the second is for city employees. The Fort Pierre City Council meets tonight at six pm at the South Dakota Municipal League meeting room.
