The Stanley County Lady Buffaloes will be at home tonight opening the 2025-26 basketball season with a contest against the Chamberlain Cubs.
Stanley County will have a new head coach heading into the year as Chris Fosheim steps in to be the new coach with Keely Bracelin still serving as the Stanley County athletic director and softball coach. Stanley County went 3-18 last year and graduated five seniors, Caycee Knight, Journey Schnee, Kiera Briggs, Kaysen Magee and Cameryn Norman. The Lady Buffaloes did open the season with a win over Chamberlain as the Cubs finished at 4-16. Chamberlain graduated just two seniors heading into the new season.
