The Pierre Governor gymnastics team start the season tonight in Huron, but won’t get much rest of the first meet as the Pierre Invite comes up this weekend at the High School.
The Govs will see both the Huron Tigers and the Chamberlain Cubs to open up the season in a triangular before hosting the Pierre Invite on Saturday which will feature 11 total teams for the event. But the Govs get to start the year with the triangular and Mikah Miller, head coach of the Pierre Governors, says it’s a great meet to start the season…
The Governors will have just one day off before hosting the Pierre Invite, but Miller says to get the first meet done and then be at home, it’s nice to have the schedule fall like it does…
Miller says she wants to see quality scores to begin the season and then start increasing the scores from there…
The Governors will begin the season at 5:30 in Huron tonight and then the Pierre Invite begins at 10:00 AM on Saturday at Pierre High School, but the Governors will be in session two which begins at 2:00.
