The Missouri Valley Football Conference would release its All-Conference teams as both South Dakota and South Dakota State would see plenty of representation.
The Jacks would get four on the All-Conference first team including Wessington Springs native, Quinten Christensen as the 6-5, 300 pound offensive lineman would be selected in his junior campaign. SDSU also had four on the honorable mention.
For the Coyotes, a total of seven players would make the All-Conference teams with two being on the first team and five being on the second team. USD also had three honorable mention spots including quarterback Aiden Bouman.
The teams were selected by a panel of head coaches, sports information directors, and media. QB Beau Brungard of Youngstown State and LB Tye Niekamp highlight the teams as they’ve been tabbed Offensive and Defensive Player of the Year, respectively. North Dakota State’s Tim Polasek has earned the Bruce Craddock Coach of the Year honor. DB Kimal Clark of Indiana State is the league’s Newcomer of the Year, and WR Luke Mailander of Illinois State has been voted Freshman of the Year. League champ NDSU highlighted the teams with an MVFC-best 20 total selections.
