The Sully Buttes Chargers would receive three players on the 2025 9B All-State football team as Wesley Wittler, Gavin Colson and Kayden Westergren would be named to the team for the second straight year.
Wittler would be the All-State quarterback for the second straight year as he would throw for over 1800 yards this season with 26 touchdowns and only six interceptions and also rushing nearly 800 yards. Colson is an outstanding athlete, making the All-State team for the second straight year. Colson had 55 catches for 565 yards this year and seven touchdown receptions. Westergren would be on the defensive line again for the 9B All-State team. Westergren was a dynamic running back for the last season and a half for the Chargers. Westergen defensively, though, had 43 tackles, 13 for loss, three sacks and a fumble. He finished with 128 tackles in his career.
