Thursday afternoon, Mackenzi Flottmeyer would sign her National Letter of Intent to continue her softball career going to Jamestown University as both a pitcher and fielder.
Flottmeyer was one of two pitchers for the Pierre Governors in the 2025 Spring as she and Noel Kist split almost 50/50 in innings. Flottmeyer threw 62 innings with 67 strikeouts while having a batting average against a .375. Flottmeyer also was second on the team in batting average but led the team in hits with 26 hits in 21 games and batting .361 where she had two doubles and three triples driving in eight runs. Last season, Jamestown 36-17 won the NSAA conference and went 1-2 in the NAIA Tournament opening round. Flottmeyer says it’s good to be going to a good team…
