PIERRE, (KCCR) — All of the surfacing needed to finish out the Euclid Avenue reconstruction project for 2025 remains on Pleasant Drive. As a result access to businesses along Pleasant are changing as crews transition to finish up. Morris Incorporated Operations Manager T-J Gallagher says starting Thursday, access to the Corner Station, Crossing and Game Room is changing. Access to the Corner Station gas station, Central Couriers and Game Room will come Sioux Avenue, via Pierre Street. Access to the Crossing bar will be from Highland to Pleasant Drive. There will be no southbound traffic on Euclid during this portion of the work. A temporary u-turn will be in place at the Euclid/Pleasant intersection to allow crews to place concrete pavement in place on Pleasant at the intersection. These changes will be in place until December 5th. Gallagher expects all lanes of traffic on the project to be reopened to use by December 5th. A map of the changes is included with this story on our website at kccrradio.com.
