With the addition of Capitol Lake as an urban fishery, Pierre now has two such areas. The original urban fishery in Pierre is Mickelson Pond off Fourth Street. The Capitol Complex Beautification and Restoration Commission approved the creation of Capitol Lake as an urban fishery in August.
