PIERRE, (KCCR) — The Pierre School Board is set for it’s November meeting tonight. The Board will consider approval of a six-item consent calendar before hearing comments from Superintendent Dr. Kelly Glodt. Board and public comments will follow along with an update from the Riggs Student Senate. The Board will get an update on district achievement with Director of Education Troy Wiebe an update on English as a Second Language in the District with Missy Slaathaug. The fairly short agenda will see the Pierre School Board give final consideration and approval to an update of Board Policy 131 regarding library material selection along with approval of surplus property, donations, out-of-district open enrollments and contracts.
