The Highmore-Harrold Pirates will be on the road tonight to face the Ipswich Tigers in the SoDak 16 qualifying game for Region 6B.
The Pirates have had an extra day of rest playing its quarterfinal game on Monday, sweeping the Sully Buttes Chargers in Highmore. Tonight, the Pirates will be on the road to Ipswich to face the two seed Tigers after they swept Gettysburg on Tuesday at home. The two teams met back at the very beginning of the season on August 28 when the Tigers would sweep the Pirates and have beaten the Pirates in back-to-back years. However, tonight, the season is on the line and the Pirates are a step away from making the SoDak 16. Highmore-Harrold is 16-12 while the Tigers are 22-6. Highmore-Harrold has just one senior in Addison McDonnell so this group is still building for the future.
First serve tonight from Ipswich is at 7:00.
