Whatever way you look at it, the Sully Buttes Chargers and Faulkton Area Trojans is a big time rematch as the two teams battle in the 9B quarterfinals tonight in Faulkton.
You can go back to week five of the regular season when the Chargers beat Faulkton in Faulkton 30-22 as the Chargers moved to 5-0 at the time. Or you can go back to last year’s playoff game in the 9B state championship when the Chargers won its first title since 1989. Either way, the Faulkton Area Trojans want revenge on the Chargers and Sully Buttes wants to continue to the victors over the Trojans both in the regular season and in the playoffs. Sully Buttes beat Hitchcock-Tulare 42-8 while Faulkton Area beat Burke 61-22 to reach the quarterfinals.
