Thursday, the Eastern South Dakota Conference would release its All-ESD cheer and dance teams as the Pierre Governors would place five in total on the teams.
The Govs would receive four for the dance team with seniors Kinsley Lamb and Jayden McPherson while junior Laynee Sitzman and sophomore Peyton Dillman would also receive the honor. The Governors were 10th at the state competition on Saturday October 25 in Watertown. For the cheer team, sophomore Jaylen Dog Eagle would place on the All-ESD team as the Governors were 15th at the state competition.
