The regular season will come to an end tonight for the Stanley County Lady Buffaloes as they will host the Jones County Coyotes with the postseason beginning next Tuesday.
The Lady Buffaloes are coming in at 6-19 and have lost five straight after being swept by Highmore-Harrold and Kadoka Area last week. Stanley County is in seventh place in the 6A standings, but can gather a lot of seed points with a win against the 16-10 Coyotes. Jones County has won three of four heading into tonight and in third place in the 7B standings and will remain in the third spot heading into the region tournament next week. It’s also senior night tonight and the Lady Buffs will honor the two seniors, Brianna Sargent and Breckyn Huebner prior to the varsity match.
First serve is scheduled for around 7:30 tonight at the Parkview Auditorium in Fort Pierre.
