Both the Sully Buttes Chargers and Stanley County Buffaloes would run at the Class B and A cross country state meets on Saturday in Huron.
The Chargers had just one lone representative as Myli Weischedel, a senior would finish in 88th in the Class B state run with 23:29. The Philip boys would win the Class B race while Ipswich would finish in first taking the Class B girls title.
For the Stanley County Buffaloes, sophomore Kamora Rutherford would have the best finish in 69th place in the girls run while teammate, eighth grader Jesse Fosheim would finish in 106. Bridger Gruber, a seventh grader would place 114 in the boys race with sophomore Ryland Magee finishing in 127. Sioux Falls Christian would sweep the Class A runs winning both the girls and boys race.
