The Hitchcock-Tulare Lady Patriots showed their muscle at the net, but had to work against the Sully Buttes Chargers volleyball team Friday night. The Patriots would win 25-17, 25-16, and 25-17 to push the Lady Patriots record to 25-4.
Sully Buttes kept the game close, and had strong play at the net themselves from Tomi White, Aurora Solem, Madison Bradberry and Scottlynn Kinney. Hitting errors once again did in the Chargers, along with nine service errors, to Hitchcock-Tulare’s five. Seniors Rebecca Huizenga, Cora Hofer, Gracyn Bixler and junior Tess Bixler combined for 29 kills. The Lady Patriots will finish the regular season at Hitchcock Tuesday night as they host Wessington Springs. The Chargers drop their season mark to 7-18, and will finish at home Tuesday night against Class A opponent Mobridge Pollock. It will also be senior night
