The Pierre Governors will be on the road tonight for the final time this season before returning home on Saturday to start a three game home stand to close the season facing O’Gorman and then Aberdeen Central.
The 3-13 Governors will look to try and knock off one of the best teams in Class AA against the Lady Knights tonight. O’Gorman is coming in at 20-3 after its reverse sweep win over the Lincoln Patriots on Tuesday to remain in that top three with powerful Harrisburg and Brandon Valley. O’Gorman has won three straight coming into the match.
On Saturday, the Govs face Aberdeen Central at home starting its final three games of the season, all at home. The Golden Eagles picked up a huge sweep of Mitchell on Tuesday to bump them into eighth place in the standings so the Golden Eagles want to maintain the spot. Aberdeen Central does not play on Friday before Saturday’s contest.
Coverage this weekend begins at 6:00 tonight with a 6:30 first serve and then at 12:30 and a 1:00 first serve on Saturday with both games on KCCR and on YouTube at KCCR Sports with Jon Winkler on the call.
