The Pierre Governor soccer team would receive a nomination on the All-State first, second and honorable mention for the 2025 season in which they would finish in third place.
Senior Jasmine Jost would be selected to the first team All-State for Pierre as she would finish with eight goals and five assists on the season being third in goals and assists. Jost also played the third most minutes on the team. Another senior, Natalie Flottmeyer would be on the second team All-State as she would be second on the team in goals with 10 and tied for the most assists with six. Sophomore Lexie Hillmer would be on the Honorable Mention team for All-State as she led the team in goals with 13 and also had six assists, tying Flottmeyer for the team lead. Pierre finished at 13-3-1 losing to Harrisburg twice and falling to Stevens. It’s the most wins by the Governors since their 2018 state championship.
