Pierre City Commission To Meet Tonight

PIERRE, (KCCR) — The Pierre City Commission is meeting tonight at the Pierre Municipal Building. Again, a light agenda greets Commissioners with four action items and a three-item consent calendar. The calendar includes minutes from the October 7th meeting, claims and the promotion of David Estes to Sergeant with the Pierre Police Department. In unfinished business, Commissioners will consider awarding a bid for landfll bags. The previous bid was rescinded last week due to higher costs. The Commission will consider approval of a lease amendment with the Pierre Senior Center and a request to purchase a 2026 Ford Explorer for the Administration office. Commissioners will also discuss an emergency storm sewer lining repair. Commissioners will end the meeting by presenting any dialogue they may have.
