FORT PIERRE, (KCCR) — The Fort Pierre City Council is meeting tonight at the South Dakota Municipal League meeting room. City officials will give reports to the Council before action is considered on agenda items. The Council will get hear a report from Mike Dora with the Bureau of Reclamation and will consider approval of a resolution regarding Missouri River Energy Services. A public hearing will be set for a right-of-way vacation request and the Council will consider acceptance of bids for the new city cold storage buildings and phase II of the Tatanka Trail project. Council members will also consider a rental agreement with the Stanley County Fairgrounds for this winter; 2025-26 mobile home court license approvals and two resolutions. One resolution is for a plat request while the second is for an agribusiness access grant application with the South Dakota Department of Transportation. The Fort Pierre City Council meets tonight at six pm. The meeting is open to the community.
