The Kimball/White Lake WildKats would take an early big lead and have enough to hold on to beat the Stanley County Buffaloes 49-16 Friday Night in Kimball.
The Buffalo defense would get a 3-and-out to open the game, but the WildKats would score three straight possessions to lead 23-0 at the end of the first quarter. Stanley County would score with nine seconds remaining in the half when Weston Prince threw a pass which was touched by Paxton Deal on a hook and ladder to Brendon Bothwell to race into the endzone, but the Buffs were down 37-8 at the half. Landon Bame would have a 69 yard touchdown rush in the fourth quarter would be the other score the Buffs as Kimball/White Lake had the running clock enacted in the third quarter.
Stanley County drops to 2-5 on the season heading into their bye week this week and then will close the season against Gettysburg on Friday, October 17.
