The Sully Buttes Chargers would split the two Homecoming games with a four set win over the Philip Lady Scotties at home Thursday night.
Scores in the match were 25-13, 28-30, 25-15 and 25-17. The Chargers were able to lead the entire way in set one, fight back from a 16-8 deficit in set two and then lead the majority of the way in sets three and four to win the match. The Chargers were led by Cateri Yellowhawk who had eight kills along with Jaydn Jaeger who also had eight. Madison Bradberry finished with seven while Tomi White had six, four coming in the fourth set.
Philip struggled to keep the hits in play finishing with 36 hitting errors to the Chargers 21. Jessa Scholfield and Kaydence Eisenbraun each had eight kills for the Lady Scotties who drop to 4-15 on the season.
Sully Buttes improves to 6-14 on the year and will host Highmore-Harrold next Tuesday for the lone game of the week. The Chargers have just six matches remaining in the regular season.
