The Sully Buttes Chargers will look to remain unbeaten tonight as they host the winless Faith Longhorns in the 2025 Homecoming Game in Onida.
The Chargers had to fend off its 9B state championship opponent from last year as the Faulkton Area Trojans came back, but Sully Buttes scored in the final seconds to win 30-22 and go to 5-0 on the season. This week, it’s a different opponent as Faith comes in at 0-5 and are in last place in the 9B standings. Faith has scored just 26 points so far in five games and have had at least 45 points scored against them in every game. The Chargers don’t want to overlook the Longhorns, but need to make sure they take care of business in a sound manner on Homecoming night. Tom Moore, head coach of the Sully Buttes Chargers says last week was a big growing up moment for the young football team to beat a solid Faulkton squad…
Moore says Faith has some good players that can run downhill well…
Moore says he wants to see the Chargers be more efficient on offense…
