The Pierre Governor soccer teams would finish the regular season with two shutouts on Tuesday as the girls would win 10-0 and the boys 2-0 over the Huron Tigers.
The Governor girls would end the game early with the 10-0 mercy rule score as Jasmine Jost would get the first and last goal along with a third goal in between to have a hat trick in the final regular season game. Kinslee Pfeffer also had two goals and Devyn Van Roekel, Natalie Flottmeyer, Zoey Bauer, Myah Fravel and Lexie Hillmer each had a goal for the Govs to grab the win as Pierre has now shutout three of the last four opponents to end the season at 11-2-1.
The Governor boys would get a shutout, with a little less scoring as Lucas Hight would score in the first half and Hekmat Ghaznavi would score in the second half to win the final regular season game for the Gov boys. Pierre has back-to-back shutout wins to end the regular season at now 6-4-4 and will await the final standings to see who they will play.
The regular season for soccer will end this weekend with the brackets being finished after the last game is played. The playoffs will begin on Tuesday.
