The Wall Eagles would score on the first offensive play of the game and the top team in 9A would show their dominance against Stanley County winning 56-6 Friday night in Wall.
Tanner Volmer would get a 41 yard run to get the Eagles on the board after a strong opening kickoff return. Wall led 22-0 after the first quarter, but Brendon Bothwell would breathe some life into the Buffs with a pick six to make it 22-6. However, Wall would still score 27 points in the second quarter and led 49-6 at the break. Stanley County’s first play of the second half would be a pick six and the kicked extra point would finish the game early in the third quarter with the 50 point win as the Eagles are 5-0 on the season.
Stanley County falls to 2-4 and will travel to Kimball to face the Kimball/White Lake WildKats on Friday. Kickoff is at 7:00.
