Much of the opposition in the Senate and House focused on money being spend on the prison and not programs to keep people out of prison. Representative Bobbi Andera of Sioux Falls says other issues need to be addressed first…

Representatives Will Mortenson and Mike Weisgram with Mehlhaff all voted in favor of Senate Bill Two, which now heads to Governor Larry Rhoden for final consideration.
