The Sully Buttes Chargers will have another busy week of volleyball as they start the week off facing the North Central Thunder at the gym in Onida.
The Chargers are 3-10 heading into the week and will also travel to face Sunshine Bible Academy on Thursday before then being in Gettysburg on Saturday for the Central South Dakota Conference Tournament. Sully Buttes went 1-4 in Philip before falling to Lyman last Thursday and then had the weekend off before another tournament again this weekend. They face the Thunder who are 11-6 on the season and near the top of the Region 6B standings as we hit near the midway point of the season. The Tunder went 1-2 in the Ipswich tournament losing one of the two games to Langford Area 2-0 after beating them the Tuesday before 3-0. North Central will also travel to Timber Lake on the Thursday for another game this week. Only Ipswich and Herreid/Selby Area are above the Thunder in the 6B standings as the Chargers currently sit in seventh.
