The Pierre Governor golf team would get tenth place on Tuesday at the Cattail Golf Course in Watertown in the final regular season meet before the ESD.
The Governors were led by Tate Stoeser who would be tied for 40th at 10 over par, 82, while Caleb Hutton and Ryker Edson would tie for 48th at 12 over par, 84 and then Rigley Kulesa would round out the scoring for the four Governors tying for 54th at 14 over par, 86. Matthew Eberhard would shoot an 89 and Josh Liudahl would be at a 92. Harrisburg’s Charlie Swift would win the individual score at three under par, 69, beating out teammate Riley Christensen who was even, 72 as they were the only two to be under or even par.
Team wise, Pierre would finish at 48 over par, placing 10th, but within 20 shots of moving up seventh place. Harrisburg would be seven over par as a team, beating out Mitchell by six strokes to win the team score.
The Governors will be in Brandon next Monday for the ESD Invite. Tee time will be at 10:00 AM at the Brandon Golf Course
