The Stanley County Lady Buffaloes would finish at 2-2 at the Big Dakota Conference Tournament in Fort Pierre, getting sixth place.
Stanley County would open the tournament falling to the Chamberlain Cubs in its first game of the day determining if they would be in the championship bracket or consolation bracket. The Cubs would win in three sets, 25-21, 27-29 and 25-19. The loss would put the Buffs into the consolation bracket looking to get sixth place. However, Stanley County came back and won the next two matches over Cheyenne-Eagle Butte and McLaughlin starting off with the win over the Braves 25-22 and 31-29. In the final match, McLaughlin would win the first set 26-24 but the Lady Buffs bounced back and won the final two sets 25-13 and 25-9.
