The Gregory Gorillas would beat the Stanley County Buffaloes 62-16 on Friday in Gregory as the Gorillas stop Stanley County’s two game winning streak with the running clock.
Brendon Bothwell would get the first score of the game for the Buffs, but Gregory had already built a 40-0 lead and led 40-8 at the half. Gregory would take the opening kick of the second half to the house. Weston Prince would find Paxton Deal for a 56 yard touchdown pass for the other score for the Buffs. Stanley County went 2-2 on two point conversions, but fall to 2-3 while the Gorillas improve to 3-2.
Stanley County will travel to unbeaten Wall on Friday. Kickoff is at 7:00 Central Time.
